The Red Rose Ball awards 25 students a one year scholarship to the University of Houston Downtown. Iit was an elegant evening at the Hyatt Regency for 300 people. We produced two student videos, one shot on the campus with the students exclaiming their glee at being selected for the scholarship, and the other shot in studio. To support the red theme fabric panels were suspended by Houston's Let it Fly and drape panels covered the walls of the ballroom. This show had a fashion show feel as each student walked out on stage as their bio was read by the M.C.. Richard Brown's Orchestra provided the live music support.
Lighting was a combination of L.E.D. and moving-light fixtures.
