The Red Rose Ball awards 25 students a one year scholarship to the University of Houston Downtown. Attended by Houston Mayor Bill White, it was an elegant evening at the Hyatt Regency for 300 people. We produced two student videos, one shot on the campus with the students exclaiming their glee at being selected for the scholarship, and the other shot in studio. Each student walked up to a central stage as the VOG read their accomplishments. The show was presented on four 50 inch high-definition plasma screens. The Richard Brown Orchestra provided live music. Eventions was the event planning company and provided stage management, scripting and designed the elegant look of the decor. We provided the sound, multi-camera switching and moving-light fixtures as well.
