Discount Tire Company sells a lot of tires. So since they are into cars making a Nascar theme was a natural way to celebrate the annual company party. We put all 72 of the regional managers into the car by shooting them individually on green screen and then animating the car with their store number on it and stats flying up around it. We then created a Widescreep-DVD loop for them as a walk-in visual and dinner module. Top managers were put on stage for the awards ceremony and the meeting was concluded by an inspirational talk by the company president. The show was a two screen format with 16x9 aspect ratio with live camera feeds. We provided Intelligent and conventional lighting for the stage and dance floor and a DJ spun tracks till the final call at 1:00 am. It was a cool show for a cool client all produced and staged by Stage Directions.
