NRG Energy won "The Conservation Leadership Award" from The Nature Conservancy for their work in preservation and protection of ecosystems and wildlife along the Texas Gulf Coast. The project was shot in HD at 1080P less than two weeks after Hurricane Ike ravaged the coastal waters where much of the volunteer work NRG employees was done. Much of the wildlife and plantlife we were seeking had relocated to safer waters. The HD format made for some great wide-screen panoramas of the Texas coastal wetlands. An original music score was provided by Will Seegers.
